Omega Full Mechanical Service

Purpose: Get your Omega running to spec for real-world wear—without erasing its history.

What’s included (base)

  • Intake & diagnosis — functional checks, timegrapher baseline, magnetism test; note your wear style and WR goal.
  • Complete teardown & ultrasonic clean — movement fully disassembled; case/bracelet deep-cleaned.
  • Parts includednew mainspring + new gasket set (where applicable).
  • Reassembly & lubrication — correct oils/greases and procedures (incl. Co-Axial where applicable); end-shake & tolerances set.
  • Regulation & control — multi-position rate, amplitude, beat error; demagnetise if needed; power-reserve & autowind checks.
  • Testing — 48–72 h run test; pressure test where the case allows; we log pressure + date.
  • Finish (patina-first) — clean only by default; light refinishing available on request (extra).
  • Documentation — timing sheet + service notes; WR test card (if tested).

What’s extra (quoted & approved first)

High-value movement parts (e.g., balance assembly, pallet/escape, Co-Axial components, autowind parts), crowns/tubes/pushers, hands/dial work, any crystal replacement (Hesalite/mineral/sapphire), bezel/inserts, and light refinishing if you request it.

Crystal policy

Crystals are not included in the base service.

  • Hesalite (Speedmaster-style): we’ll polish light marks when feasible; replacement is quoted.
  • Mineral/Sapphire: quoted (part + install). If damage prevents meeting your WR target, we’ll advise and quote before continuing.

Pricing (guide)

  • Non-Co-Axial three-hand (e.g., 1120 family): €450–€650
  • Co-Axial three-hand (e.g., 2500 / 8500 / 8800 families): €600–€900
  • Chronographs (e.g., 1861/1863 manual; 3330; 9300/9900): quoted after inspection; typical €700–€1,000
Final quote after inspection/parts check. Co-Axial & Master-Chronometer families may have parts/tooling constraints—lead times can vary; we’ll advise at intake.

Water-resistance note

WR is valid at the time of test only; wear, age and shocks can change it. If you swim/dive, we recommend annual checks.

Patina stance

We preserve honest wear and original character. No heavy polishing unless you ask for it.

Suitable Omega calibres (examples)

Non-Co-Axial autos 1120/1109 family; Co-Axial 2500 / 8500 / 8800 families; manual chronographs 1861/1863. Some newer Master Chronometer references (e.g., 3861/9900) may require brand-center parts—availability & lead time discussed at intake.

€400,00
Calibre:

Non-Co-Axial three-hand €400. Co-Axial three-hand €550. Chronographs €700 typical (quoted). Base includes new mainspring + gaskets; high-value parts quoted first.

Teardown and ultrasonic clean; re-oil to spec (incl. Co-Axial procedure where applicable); new mainspring + gaskets; multi-position regulation (rate, amplitude, beat error); demagnetise if needed; 48–72 h run test; WR test where possible; timing sheet and notes. Patina-first by default. Calibres covered: non-Co-Axial autos 1120/1109; Co-Axial 2500/8500/8800 families; manual chronos 1861/1863; newer Master Chronometer refs by discussion.

Unfortunately no. Hesalite/mineral/sapphire replacements are quoted. We’ll polish Hesalite when feasible. If the crystal prevents a WR pass, we’ll advise and quote.

Patina-first. Clean by default; light refinish available on request (extra). No heavy polishing unless you ask.

We test and document WR at service. It’s valid at the time of test only. Annual checks recommended if you swim/dive.

However, user error may still allow water to get into the watch. Due to this, we offer no warranty for waterproofness - only a certificate that while in service in controlled conditions and no user error the watch has passed WR testing.

Typically 2–5 weeks. Order the service, choose return-shipping, complete the intake, ship to us; we confirm any extras, service, and return it insured & tracked.
